So Pete Stark apologized to Congress or the Senate after he was censured for saying that Bush sent our troops to war to get their heads blown off for his amusement. I wish everyone could get a good look at some of these wimps and brainless wonders who represent us in our nation’s capital. Then Pete Star went to the side of the chambers and cried because he was censured. Of course it was the republican side of the governing body that censured this idiot but what else do you expect from our leaders, the ones who represent voters. They act like a bunch of misbehaving children in preschool.
About the SCHIP program that Bush vetoed. There are 800,000 adults on this program and many of the children that they want to put on for benefits are from families who are covered by company insurance. Another little item that is being covered up is that families that make more in wages than any of my family will receive this government insurance paid for by the government. The taxpayer money is all the government money there is. Call me deaf, stupid, and blind but I don't want to pay for the above mentioned on this government hand out. My husband gets to work nearly half of the year for the government. Yep...the first five months and then some. Government money is like cream. It rises to the top.
Here is the real deal. I find myself throwing away different brochures that use the season for giving as an opportunity to solicit. We are just the average family and right now we are seeing what we will be able to come up with for our loved ones’ Christmas gifts, as well as the extra money that we will spend on gas and groceries for the big meals involved. So you, my democratic friends, want to take even that paltry amount away from us. Any government program insists that top pay goes to administration. Administration is made up of friends who helped get whomever into office. This is trickle down politics. What Hillary is wanting is socialized medicine. Socialized is communist and I don't care how you slice it, it just is. Now I don't deny that I want to help those in need, but I want to do things for myself, things like buying Christmas gifts for the few of the family I have left. I wanted to buy Kayla a sterling silver charm bracelet. Her family can't afford to do those lavish little things. If Jerry and I budget just right we can do that. We bought her a really nice cedar chest a couple of years ago, a piece of nice furniture that she will take into her own home someday. I'm not going to be around forever and I want to do these things now...while I still can. Oh sure, she would rather have money so she can shop. I told her once that I would not deny myself the joy of shopping for her. I feel the same joy that I did when I shopped for her mother’s doll from Santa.
So in a nutshell here is what I have to say. I don't want socialized anything...period...end of statement. The government does not have a right to anything else from me. Do not load me down with anymore of your bull. Get the 800,000 adults off SCHIP. Those who make more money than my husband. Push them out and make them bear their part of the load. For God’s sake this is America. No child has ever been turned away from medical treatment. It is a myth that is perpetrated by those who want to take away the gift that I want to give my granddaughter for Christmas. Well just so you know what a real redneck I am listen to this. You will take the silver bracelet from me out of my cold dead hand! SUPPORT THE TROOPS!
