'No Tears' by Rick and Lisa Wallace

A lady here in Lovington, always quick to take care of me, ever ready to support our troops, called me this morning to tell me she wanted to order me a CD. After listening to her and checking the site where the music is available, I wanted to share this with our readers.

Bobbee, my friend, told me the couple had been on FOXNews and that the CD had really taken off. The story behind the music is on their site. Please visit it by clicking below on the song's title.

"No Tears" is a beautiful song by Rick and Lisa Wallace that is featured on a CD dedicated to their son, Sgt. Brandon Wallace, who was killed in Fallujah this year.

On their site:

On April 14 2007 Sgt. Brandon Lee Wallace was killed in Fallujah, Iraq when a road-side bomb detonated near his humvee. While searching for a way to bring comfort and healing to those that knew him, miss him and loved him, on October 3rd, 2007, inspiration struck. "No Tears" came about in a moment of divine inspiration. It started with a couple of phrases penned on an envelope and quickly escalated into melody and lyrics that we believe will bring comfort, healing, and hope to the listener.

God be with all the Gold Star families.

I've listened to it several times and it is nice (but I want Aaron thinking about me all the time!! I'm hideous!) and I appreciate that the talent God has given him is being put to use for others that find themselves in this part of life. There should be many songs to come from the love of his son.

Thanks, FG.
