8. 2004. Tiff and I spent the night at your house before driving on to Amarillo. This is right before we left that morning and we arrived at Aaron's grave at noon, the exact time they were to take their vows.

A large number of us had gathered at the airport to greet Aaron after OIF 1. We donned many flags and yellow ribbons. We kept waving said flags over and over and over and over as each person descended from the airplane. Finally, our hearts fell as the last person got off. Where was Aaron?
A sudden and loud thunderous clap from behind me: There was Aaron, standing behind me, watching us, watching for him. He'd managed to completely around the airport to surprise us. What a nut! :)
