I know that everyone is holding their breath about the surgery. It went just swell. It was the hospital care afterward that floored me, or rather, the lack of it. I was in and out of the hospital in ten hours and had packed stuff for the 24 to 72 hours the doctor told me it would take. The good news is that is all behind me now except for the recovery process. Pain and getting the old plumbing going again. After that, look for me to be the oldest hottie in NM.
I have been so tired of having to dress like something that was never even a little bit me. I have looked at catalogues that came in over the Christmas holidays and felt like crying because of what I used to be able to choose to wear compared to what I was forced to choose. I am strictly a blue jeans and shorts woman and I have worn tent dresses for so long. It was ridiculous to bother with make-up. It was like putting lipstick on a pig. During the time that I was forced to live this way I took stock of how the other more than plus sizes dressed and could not believe that they wore tight fitting pants and spaghetti straps and swayed the old butt as if they had something that we all yearned for, but it is true. If you have a good attitude you can carry it off, but I slinked wherever I went. I tried to sneak in and out of where ever I had to go. I think a house plant had more fun than I have had and was by far better looking. You just can't be a small size all your life and have one operation to suspend a bladder and it all changed overnight. I really think I needed therapy, but I was too ashamed for a therapist to see me. The only person I have been really comfortable around is the Orkin Man. Why? I don't know except it was his job to get rid of ugly things and he knew this ugly thing held the paycheck. So if you think I was feisty before, well you ain't seen nothing yet.
I have really felt pretty two-faced talking about how Hillary looked when I looked like the loser of her Siamese twin, but at least I had the decency to hide myself when at all possible. I am really interested in my niece’s new program of getting healthy. She calls it a two day a month cleanse and I am sure a healthy diet which I have always eaten anyway. I can tell her right now that the two day cleanse is for real, for your tummy holds next to nothing and you are full. I ate my first food this evening. I had bacon and mashed potatoes and gravy. I love bacon and I love mashed potatoes and gravy but I lay in bed obsessed for this meal. Tomorrow it will be steak and baked potatoes and salad, and Bill’s. De'on can explain what Bill’s is but it is delicious. Much like chow-chow but better, and Jerry canned them himself. Look for Greg to do the same. No, we won't share this recipe for it would make a fantastic Christmas gift and a very exclusive gift at that. You could make a fortune with this if you just had the pleasure of fortune blessed friends and family, which we do not. I would really appreciate Tonya posting her health thing, because I promise you, being healthy is worth more than all the money in the world.
The reason we get kicked out of the hospital so quick anymore is because all hospitals harbor the staph germ, which is deadly. Maybe that is why they kicked me out of the hospital because I looked like something the Orkin Man should have done away with. I have a few really overweight friends and relatives that enjoyed this portion of my life. Some actually sneered and it alarmed me. But it will be a whole new world for me and I intend to wipe that sneer off her face...no I am not telling who, but I’ll bet De'on has already guessed. I have never figured out why this person hates me but De'on said I would put Gushy-poo Pelosi to shame as to how hard I try to be nice to her. Now she can have a reason, because every man worth his salt will lust...not really that was over years ago. But I will be cuter than she is....Tee Hee

I'm so lost! What did you have done? I hope you are well! |This is the first chance I've had to get to gunzup and read anything. WOW, this new blog is just to fancy for me. LOL I wasn't sure how to post to your blog (blondeheadtilt), But I figured it out (big ol' grin). I sure miss all you guys! You all make me feel good and blessed. I'm also trying to lose all this weight I gained! I need ENERGY!!! I hope to read some more blogging this weekend.
Mom had surgery on a 2 year old surgery which had worked its way into a hernia the size of a cantalope, basically.
Hold on, Diane! My cousin has just started a weight-loss program (unsure as to which one) but she is going to begin to share her updates with us. She is losing weight, gaining energy and wants to use us as an accountability group. Maybe we can hook you up with her!
Hook me up! I need to lose badly!
I will see if I can't hook you up Little Lady! I'll email the link of this post to my cousin. She's all Texan and I bet she will tell you what she's doing. HOWEVER, SHE IS JUST A WEE BIT TARDY ON COMMUNICATING WITH ME!! :)
Okay YaYa, I get the message. But you have to admit even though I'm often "tardy" I'm usually well worth the wait! Ha Ha... So, here I am doing my very first blogging and I can't think of a better group to blog with. This little family of mine is amazing. Our hearts are big...we love our country, our president and our troops. I don't just LOVE America, I am passionate about it.
I am so pleased to hear that Aunt Virgie is doing well after her surgery. Too bad I didn't know about it while she was here in the hospital. I could have brought flowers, sick presents, or maybe even a male stripper. So, YaYa, I guess I'm not the only one a wee bit tardy spreading the latest news, huh?! Anyway, I am thankful all went well, and I look forward to my Aunt having her health and her "hottiness" back.
Speaking of health, I am so fired up about the new health and wellness program I am on. I was asked by Aunt Virgie Bell to share my progress with others and I would love to because I believe being accountable to others is a big part of the success one has with any long term program.
Uh-oh, I ran out of room in my little square. Maybe I need to shorten this a little. I need to remember I am not trying to write a book! Diane, I know you were interested in the weight loss program I'm on. It is called Isagenix. It consists of a total body cleanse once a week. The other days I eat one healthy meal, and drink shakes (they are really good) for the other two meals. When I lose all of the weight I want, I will only do the cleanse twice a month, and will replace only one meal a day with a shake. I tell you, this is really working. I started this Tuesday, Jan. 8th, and as of this morning, I have lost ELEVEN pounds. But most importantly I feel great and I have ENERGY. I highly recommend this program. I have fought my weight all of my life. I am 52 years old and I have probably been on 52 different diets. I had just about given up, and then I heard about this. IT IS WORKING. I will continue to let you know how it is going weekly. There will be TWO hotties at our family Christmas next year, Virgie Bell and her niece. If anyone wants more info about this program you can visit the website, www.tonyaabbott.isagenix.com or visit me at my website abbotttonya@yahoo.com. I will be looking forward to giving you an update next week. This is going to be fun!
