The mayor of Oakland, California has come out in support of Hillary Clinton. Keep in mind what the city of Oakland did to the plane load of Marines who were returning from Iraq. They were not...NOT...allowed into the terminal. They were made to stand on the tarmac. The Marines were not allowed to go inside to bathroom facilities, or to get a cup of coffee or even a glass of iced tea. If the mayor of Oakland comes out for the Clinton campaign then that is reason enough to run the other way. If anyone completely objects to the war that is one thing, but to treat our troops with such shameful disrespect is quite another.
The only thing that Oakland or San Francisco seems to want is for our troops to bleed and die in order protect these two cities by the Bay. They will not allow our military recruiters in their schools. They allow the weirdoes that practice in unheard of orgies to go into a church and deface it. These cities have turned out luminaries such as Nancy Pelosi, Cindy Sheehan and Scott Peterson. I visited these cities in the past, but I will promise that a dime from me will never be spent in order to help these cities.
There was an outcry from the public about the treatment of our troops and the mayor said it would never happen again. A plane who disembarked its Marines at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport was greeted with ovations and cheering. People yelled thank you to them and this was at the same time that Oakland treated them so shamefully. I know that there has to be some fine people in these two cities and all I can say is, if I were you, I would try and move out of Marin County for they do not SUPPORT THE TROOPS!
