Wouldn't you know? Any good news from the front lines in the war is bad news for Congress. I do not want to hear another one talk about how they support the troops. They have cut funding without a timeline. You are done when you go the distance on anything, especially a war.
I will lay a little wager that John Kerry runs as Hillary's Vice President. He has challenged T. Boone Pickens, calling him to put up a million bucks and he will show where he did not lie on his service record. Kerry was a hero, yes, and O. J. Simpson was innocent. Nonetheless he will get the same old bunch together and make all the same claims.
What I resent most about John Kerry is a picture of him throwing medals over the fence at the White House and years later they hang proudly in his office. You do not get medals back once they are thrown away. They are earned by heroic acts for service to our country. He has two sets somehow. Just goes to show how trustworthy he really is. It is stuff such as this that really burns me up. I was not there when he was in Vietnam. I certainly saw the pictures of him throwing his medals away. Now did he lie about throwing them away or is he lying about having them displayed in his office? Choose one. One or the other is a lie.
I was taught at home that if a SOB will lie to you, he will steal from you and I have found that to be true. Can't you just see John Kerry, Hillary and Bill Clinton? Proven guilty of lying and here we go again. Trust me; this will be the line up. Politics is show business. It really is. We know Bill Clinton lied and did so under oath. If anyone is really that sold on Hillary, then they must ask themselves if they approve of Bill Clinton. If you do, then shame on you.
Consensus is that Edwards has imploded. Not surprising in the least. He needs to go home and take care of Elizabeth. She is gaining weight while being treated for cancer. Something is wrong because that flies in the face of all known treatment. Obama doesn't stand a chance. The Democrats have made up their minds. I just hope everyone that can vote will do so. I pray (I literally do) that Hillary won't get into office.
The Boy Scouts have been stopped from collecting packages to send to the troops in Massachusetts. The peaceniks say it is too political to send magazines, candy, gum, and books so the little boys were stopped. My mom and dad would throw a fit over this and you better believe it. They would have bailed when Pelosi rode in the parade with Harry Hay. How sick...How very, very sick.

I just want to support some of your comments about John Kerry.
Here is a man who campaigned for, and received, three (3) Purple Hearts for tiny wounds on three different occasions that never required one minute of loss of duty time in Vietnam, much less hospitalization. John Kerry then used these awards of three (3) purple hearts to request curtailment of Vietnam duty, as is allowed when a person has won three (3) purple hearts.
So "brave warrior" John Kerry served less than 5 months in Vietnam -- from 11-17-68 to the first week in April 1969. He left Vietnam at his own request.
When John Kerry returned to the U.S., he began his aggressive criticism of the Vietnam War and the Veterans serving in it - WHILE STILL SERVING ON ACTIVE DUTY IN THE UNITED STATES NAVY! In doing this, he began to build his career that would lead to the U.S. Senate.
Many questions remain about John Kerry, and they should remain until adequately answered. Many questions remain about how in the hell a guy like this got the Silver Star and the Bronze Star for what he actually did in Vietnam.
Then, as Virgie said, he threw these medals "over the fence at the White House," with some other Veterans against the Vietnam War. Now (as Virgie says) these same(!?) medals hang on the walls of his Senate office. H'mmmmmm.

I just cannot stand to think of Kerry (with or without Hillary in tow.) in charge of anything. Perhaps VP suits him then! But I know he's not going away.
Last night I sat and flipped through and old magagzine you gave me, Mom. Time Magazine's 1998 Man of the Year, which is Ken Starr and Bill Clinton. Hillary looks so young at that time, but it's easy to see that she was "staged" and nothing can change her eyes.
