My Kitchen-Greg's Work

April 5, 2007. There was a wall here with a tiny entryway into the horribly dark-paneled kitchen. Greg tore out the wall and built in the bar you see in photo #2
May 8, 2007. All of our other floors are oak, and so is this one, underneath, underneath, underneath. Greg finally quit on trying to get this down to the hardwood underneath. He put laminate on the "new" floor.

November 10, 2007: Happy Birthday Marines! Just hop right up here to my new bar! Isn't the ceramic tile full of character already! Greg's first experience at laying it! We went "around the world" (watch those shipping charges!) and finally found it 20 miles from us.

Help yourself to some Halloween candy there. I've nearly polished it off and I don't even like milk chocolate. Dark, yes. Hence, Greg purchased milk.

I'll never understand.

Greg tore out all the old cabinets and put in new ones after he built them. He still has a bit to finish in here: trim, another cabinet over the fridge, but hasn't he done a fantastic job!? I love it.
And I'm sitting in the far-left bar stool...thinking of you right now!

This picture in no way does it justice. It is more beautiful than a picture can convey. MOM
