Today is such a beautiful day here. We had heavy storms last night ... even a tornado was sighted fairly close to Tatum, which is only twenty miles from us. But I love electrical storms. Of course, Hen was as close to me as he could get, shaking and scared. He's such a disgrace to his race. But Momma kept her feet on him, rubbing him and telling him it would be okay. And it was so very okay as the rain beat against our metal roof.
You'll have to check out Lubbock Marine Parents site as Semper Fi Mom's #1 Marine son is home from serving two years in Japan. She's shown some neat photos he took there. When your son comes home on leave, it is absolutely the most exciting time in the world. It goes much too quickly, but even the preparation days in advance lends a quality to life that is not earned in any other way that I can think of--that is as exciting as that time.
Also, you'll have to check out Flag Gazer's site. She tagged me on "thinking sites" so I'll have to put a little thought into that one ... pun fully intended! But her email resides below.
So I hope you guys are happy too and having a great weekend wherever you are!
Don't forget to check for new photos that are continually added down in the basement. I so wish that you guys would add some too. Doesn't ANYBODY love me anymore? ;) I love you. I put pictures for you. Now, don't you feel bad? PUT PICTURES!
Bye ... {{{
Back later,
Semper Fi,
