I can't comprehend all the talk about how we in the USA have started a war. I beheld the devastation that was 9/11, as we all did, and yet we seem to be blamed that it happened to us. That we somehow had it coming to us because we are what we are. Whatever someone perceives us to be. Warmongers, The Great Satan, you name it and we are it. The protesters are out in force today. The same ones that protest everything. My silent protest doesn’t amount to much. At one time I looked forward to going to the movies. To get out and enjoy a simple thing in an ordinary simple life. Now it seems that each movie has some nut job thrown in just to force down our throats someone like Charlie Sheen or Sean Penn. Just the same old bull that never seems to go away.
I feel certain that the movie industry doesn't miss my measly ticket purchase. I wonder if I am the only one that misses my lifestyle. I refuse to indulge the anti-everything with any money for entertainment that would help in anyway those who blame us for a war thrust upon us. I don't care what we did or did not do; we never deserved to be attacked on that fateful day when America changed forever.
No one wishes more than I do that we had been attacked by an enemy within a certain boundary. A country that we could point out and bomb the heck out of. Instead we are left with an enemy that hides among the innocent and then the world roars against us if we don't just set there and try dialog to solve something that destroyed the world as we knew it before that tragic day.
The news today makes me sad. Protesters aside. Just the blame that comes our way. Yes, we have lost over 3000 of the most wonderful fighting force on the face of the earth. Is that how we measure the War on Terror? How utterly ridiculous. I have but one little part that I can play in all of this and that is to SUPPORT THE TROOPS SOME!

Don't be sad, Mom. Rent movies of the Greats, and of those that do support us, stay home, smoke and try to be okay with the fact that we do live in a very different day.
Sometimes people are blind. I understand that now. Perhaps eyes are blinded for a while--for a season.
I love you so much. We have everything that matters, and though they are the ones who get the coverage, at our very fingertips is a world of support. Aaron never got hurt by the ditzes. He just thought they were stupid.
Sometimes people are just stupid. Hollywood seems to have more than its fair share.
I love you. So much. It's not long until you'll be living out in your backyard and I'll have to beg you for your post!
Aaron got much of his loyalty from you. For that, I'm thankful.
Be heartened Virgie Bell - the Gathering of Eagles counter-protest in DC outnumbered the anti's three to one. It was remarkable!!! Over 30,000 Americans showed up to SUPPORT THE TROOPS!
Links to pictures and stories on my site... it made my heart soar!
