Marine Lance Cpl. Eric A. Ayon, 26, of Arleta, California.
Ayon died from hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 9, 2004.


Army Sgt. Felix M. Del Greco, 22, of Simsbury, Connecticut.
Del Greco died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive devise and small arms fire struck his mounted patrol. He was assigned the Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 102nd Infantry, New Haven, Connecticut. Died on April 9, 2004.


Army Spc. Peter G. Enos, 24, of South Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Enos died in Bayji, Iraq, when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his patrol vehicle. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, in Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on April 9, 2004.


Army Pfc. Gregory R. Goodrich, 37, of Bartonville, Illinois.
Goodrich died in Iraq when his convoy came under attack by individuals using rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. He was assigned to the Army Reserve's 724th Transportation Company, Bartonville, Illinois. Died on April 9, 2004.


Army Staff Sgt. Raymond E. Jones, Jr., 31, of Gainesville, Florida.
Jones died in Bayji, Iraq when a rocket-propelled grenade struck him while on patrol. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on April 9, 2004.


Army Spc. Jonathan R. Kephart, 21, of Oil City, Pennsylvania.
Kephart died in Baghdad, Iraq, from injuries sustained when his patrol was ambushed near Baghdad on April 8, 2004. He was assigned to the 230th Military Police Company, from Kaiserslautern, Germany. Died on April 9, 2004.


Army Staff Sgt. Toby W. Mallet, 26, of Kaplan, Louisiana.
Mallet died in Bayji, Iraq, when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his patrol vehicle. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on April 9, 2004.


Marine Cpl. Matthew E. Matula, 20, of Spicewood, Texas.
Matula died from hostile fire in Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 9, 2004.


Army Staff Sgt. Don S. McMahan, 31, of Nashville, Tennessee.
McMahan died in Baghdad, Iraq, when individuals using rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire attacked his convoy. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 94th Field Artillery, 1st Armored Division, in Baumholder, Germany. Died on April 9, 2004.


Marine Pfc. Chance R. Phelps, 19, of Clifton, Colorado.
Phelps died from hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 9, 2004.


Marine Cpl. Michael R. Speer, 24, of Davenport, Iowa.
Speer died from hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on April 9, 2004.

Army Spc. Allen J. Vandayburg, 20, of Mansfield, Ohio.
Vandayburg died in Barez, Iraq when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his vehicle. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Vilseck, Germany. Died on April 9, 2004.


Army Spc. Michelle M. Witmer, 20, of New Berlin, Wisconsin.
Witmer died in Baghdad, Iraq, when she became involved in an improvised explosive device and small arms attack. She was assigned to the Army National Guard's 32nd Military Police Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Died on April 9, 2004.

Army Pfc. Casey M. LaWare, 19, of Redding, California.
LaWare died at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany, from non-combat related injuries sustained April 6, 2005 in Al Mahmudiyah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Irwin, California. Died on April 9, 2005.

Army Sgt. David S. Collins, 24, of Jasper, Georgia.
Collins died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during combat operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on April 9, 2006.


Army Pfc. Joseph I. Love, 22, of North Pole, Alaska.
Love died in Balad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during convoy operations. He was assigned to the 84th Engineer Combat Battalion (Heavy), 8th Sustainment Command (Theater), Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Died on April 9, 2006.


Army Sgt. 1st Class Gregory S. Rogers, 42, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Rogers died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during convoy operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on April 9, 2006.
