Virgie Bell's View: They're Slick

I really think that it is a crying shame that we the people have to watch and listen to Reverend Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton with their constant race baiting. They have these little groups of people that are always trying to stir up one controversy and then another. If either one of them does one bit of charity or other good works, I am totally unaware of it. Oh, they may jump up now and then do something that looks good on the surface. If you do just a little research you would find that everything they claim to do well is really to get publicity and money for themselves. I noticed a piece on the Internet claiming that Al Sharpton was a Pentecostal preacher in the past. I call this little bit of information false. Oh, he may have preached some now and then, but to my knowledge he was never formally trained in any ministry.

I was watching 'The Factor' one evening when Sharpton was a guest and Bill O’Reilly asked him had he ever had a real job in his life. He did his usual shuffling around on the subject, but when pinned down he had to admit that he had been an actor in the past. I will go so far as to say that he is still an actor. He plays the part of a civil leader and that is all the slicked up farce does. We even had him as a candidate during the last presidential election. Just think about it. A man who in 1987 smeared feces on a 15 year old girl and wrote racist and sexual remarks on her body and then put her in a dumpster and accused the white race of sexual assault on this girl. It turned out that he was the one who did this, the one who pulled the hoax on the American public. To do what? To cause trouble between the black community and the rest of the population.

Jesse Jackson is an incredible fraud. He does these different marches in one cause or another, but it is all a hoax. Many members of the black community have called him on this. He claims to have no money, yet he lives in a mansion in Chicago. I may be mistaken on the city, but not on the mansion. Go on the net and see for yourself. Big bucks there. Where do the fortunes come from for these two jokers to pull off that kind of living? What truly are their jobs? Who pays for the lavish lifestyles? We do. Yes, we the American citizen. We do it with our taxpayer dollars and charitable donations.

Jesse Jackson was going to pay for the college education of the accuser who caused such uproar in the Duke Lacrosse mess. A “free” education for the one who yelled raped when there was no rape involved. Sex? Yes, it seems there was quite a lot of sex, but it was not with any of these players. Just various other Johns that she chose to have sex with. Yet, there was Slick Al and Liar Jesse marching and causing an uproar. It cost the families of these players to be out over a million dollars a piece on lawyer fees plus 397 days of pure hell on earth. Death threats, the parade of signs calling the three guys “Hitler”—whose only crime was that they happened to come from rich families. In other words, an accident of birth, just like in the Hood. Sure, there are many from the black poor and the white poor and all poor that go to jail. If you decided to accuse me of any crime and I would have to come up with a million dollar lawyer, trust me, I would have to serve it out in jail. My husband has a good job and an excellent work record. We do not have an extra fortune for a lawyer or anything else. Fair? No one calls it fair. It just is—that’s all.

I am so glad I was raised back in the time we children were so called “abused.” I got my little behind spanked many times. The thing about it was it was part of life. I am so tired of it being everyone else's fault except the perpetrators. The accuser was treated with respect and her name was kept from us. The really guilty one in this is Mike Nifong, the crooked DA who took the race ball and ran the touchdown. He got the black vote. The Duke players were treated as lepers by every news story in the main media. Mrs. Big mouth Virgie Bell hoped they would never get by with it. “Those Lacrosse players, blah, blah, blah….” said I! For the rest of their lives they will have to live this down. Guilty of being white and guilty of being affluent.

What on earth has become of us as a society? The rap artist with the slouchy clothes and the dirty lyrics. Heroin chick it is called. How do we even know what Ho's means without them? They demean the entire female sex and are paid a fortune for it. While I am on this subject, I want to call attention to the very worst of the worst. The new leader of the new Black Panthers. A Mr. Shabazz. He gets on TV and calls for the death of all whites and Jews. I have heard it over and again. He was on a program hosted by Michelle Malkin, a lovely articulate woman of oriental background. Shabazz called her Bill O'Reilly's prostitute. Not a whisper...not a peep. It is fine it seems to call a woman a Ho or a prostitute!!! What is wrong with us anymore? Shabazz was left on the air. FOX should have stopped him right there. They didn't because race baiting increases viewer ratings. Yes, I am guilty myself. I don't go to the movies much any more. I loved the movies; it was my recreation of choice for me and Jerry as a couple. I would have loved to have seen Mystic River and I dearly love Clint Eastwood. Old Rowdy Yates is just like Dr. Chatwell. He is part of our family. I would never have paid a dime to see anything starring Sean Penn. Mr. Penn is a fine actor, but the man is just stupid. That is all you can say. There was an old saying, “Fools names and fools faces are always found in public places.” Steve Ramos made us all into the biggest fools that you can imagine. But that was because De'on turned to this Gunz Up thing, yet another thing to help survive losing Aaron. Just like some people knit and purl, she taps and taps the keys. I am her mother ... of course I am going to tap along with her. I also have my opinions. My opinions are mine. I think they are pretty well informed, but hey, Al Sharpton thinks he is worthy of being President. Dear God, please save us all from that! SUPPORT THE TROOPS!
