Do you remember the day the Berlin Wall fell? I do. I remember it well. The citizens of the Russian controlled side of the fence very nearly starved to death. Now we have Vladimir Putin to contend with. As you know, Putin is a former member of the KGB, Russia's secret service, loyal to the communist doctrine, and truly believes that God does not exist. Everyone needs to search their memory for the last time a Russian leader was not anti-USA. There was a brief period of a shaky friendship with Gorbachev, but other than that small little side bar in history, there has never been any kind of break. Russia is rolling in the greenbacks due to the vast fortune that country receives for its oil.
It’s getting time for the elected officials to realize that we have become so dependent on oil that we will fail. That is the truth. Another truth we will have to face is that no one will ever lift a finger to help us. We are despised for what we are, a free independent nation with liberty and justice for all. We are indeed hated and yet we do more to help people all over the world to achieve health, wealth, equity, and human rights. We really need to win the war in Iraq. We really do. If you think gas is high now, just wait. It will go higher.
In the old west the pioneers knew to pull their wagons into a circle to fight hostile Indians. The Indians would circle the wagon train and if the could finally break through the circle, the settlers were butchered. We like the pioneers see the hostile forces slowly closing us off, and breaking through the circle that we depended on in the past. An ocean lay between us in previous wars. The battleground was never on North American soil. From the civil war to now, we have not fought between ourselves. We have been spared that. Until 9/11.
Our military is our only hope and the war in Iraq is also essential. That is a vast supply of oil in the Middle East. No one surely is naive enough to think that someone who is really for our country will not be the first ones after it if we go. Same thing happened in World War II. It sounds great that we can be able to farm our way out of it. That is also a lie. Look in the newspapers within our country and there is squabble going on over water. The replenishing of water is vital. There really isn't enough to go around. We have no way to farm our way out of a loss of water. It was ample at one time, but that no longer holds true today. Now you are allowed to water your lawn on certain days, but you are fined if you dare to water on another day.
We need to research and drill for oil in our country and We need to try to go as green as is possible. I've heard it all before. It is money, honey, in Washington DC, and don't allow yourself to think otherwise. Yet to be hated as we are we have more people sneak across the border to live within our horrid society. Once in a great while we have a protester go to Canada. One that is against the war. Any war. In America we say, who cares…? Go ... God’s speed and good riddance. Don't let the door hit your behind on the way out.
I bought a Lubbock paper today. A Mr. Perez from Los Angeles had a full column telling 12,000,000 immigrants how to close down our cities and gain citizenship. That is taking over a country from within. That is a population for a major city. I hate to sound so mean and hateful. I wish everyone had everything they needed for as long as they live. I really do. But there comes a time that we must face facts. The Democrat’s agenda is to divide and conquer. We have got to wake up to the fact that we are truly in a war and it is on all fronts. Our military has got to be supported. We have got to maintain our freedom. We have to stand ready to protect our greatest gift. SUPPORT THE TROOPS!
