HAPPY 29TH ANNIVERSARY to Roy and Lisa on so many, many, many years of wedded bliss.
And HAPPY 3rd ANNIVERSARY to Dad who successfully underwent surgery for squameous cell carcinoma of the tongue and throat on this date in 2004.
Love and smiles to all!
P.S. Greg got his birthday card from sisters and bros. of mine. Great! But $ is still better!

It seems like yesterday that De'on, Kayla and I planned Lisa and Roy's 25th Anniversary party. That was such a wonderful day. I look forward to many, many more. Maybe Kayla could post the poem she wrote for her Mom and Dad for that day.
Harvey's surgery however, seems like a lifetime ago. It's hard to think back to that summer, we had so many battles to face, but we rallied as a family and Harvey faced everything head on with us right behind him.
Thank you Lord for getting us through and giving us these last 3 precious years. Having Harvey with us was worth it all. I love you my dear, dear Father-in-Law, you have taught us so much about living.
HAPPY 29TH ANNIVERSARY!!
Thanks everybody. We celebrated going to Midland and ENJOYING Johnny Lang, Delbert McClinton, and Leon Russell. I believe that is one of the best concerts I have been too. But Jimmy Hall is still up there also.He is so great, but I guess he doesn't travel around this part of the country, you have to go on the Blues Cruise to enjoy him. Quite pricey, but well worth it. The festival in Midland was called Margarita and Salsa, a wonderful ring to it, but quite a decieving name. The margarita was only one kind in the bottle and salsa, only one kind out of the jar. Hmmmm not what I expected, but the bands were awesome and made up for it. The set up was great also. Thanks goes to Midland, it is nice to have that kind of entertainment out in this neck of the desert.
Well I left a huge comment then lost it, guess it wasn't that important, but how can Leon Russell not be important.
Also anniversaries, Dad, etc, but I'm not writing it all again!
