Monopoly, anyone?

Sheree, a friend of mine who has a son who was in the Navy gave me a call a few months ago and asked me to come and pick up a gift that Brandon had sent to me. Brandon has done this more than once. Of course, Brandon would. He donated one of his kidneys to a friend a little over a year ago. He must get his giving-nature from his mom. She used to bring me back wonderful Marine things when she'd go to North Carolina to visit her son. Brandon is now back in Georgia, where they're from. Sheree has the cutest accent in the world. Though I never met Brandon, Sheree did know Aaron.

Well, this great game (Limited Edition of U.S. Marines Monopoly) was one of the gifts. Greg and I finally set it up tonight. We will make moves as we can and play at least one complete game. We used to play a lot of Scrabble. And Greg worked on jigsaw puzzles when he lost part of a finger on the drilling rigs about 13 years ago. Lots of stories in this paragraph! ;)
Instead of hotels, you buy Battalions and such. Look at the properties. The tokens are cool too. Does anybody else have one of these? Greg's toss of the dice beat my 4 (is that a snake eyes, a double snake eyes, or is that a 1 that is called snake eyes?) to go first.
Greg is the helmet and I am the boots. Not only does Greg roll first, he is also the Banker. I made a mature decision on this. I've had quite enough to do with coins for a while! LOL!

I'll let you know how our ongoing game comes along. I foresee a few posts out of this. As I said, Greg is very COMPETITIVE!

Marine Monopoly? I have to know the outcome!!! May I say that I feel you made a good choice of banker, although I don't think that you'll be given shown any mercy.

Please keep us updated, as this sounds good.

I nearly bought one of these when I visited Steven in Japan. I was running short of money with all the other souvenir shopping I had been doing. I wish now that I had bought it. I'll have to look and make sure, but I think you can order it at Sgt. Grit.

Play nice! ;)
