What is the mysterious medical condition that allowed Paris Hilton to get out of jail in just five days? Who knows? I think it is a disgrace to the whole American system of justice. Preferential treatment for this so-called celebrity who has lived a preferential and high profile life is beyond anyone's comprehension. So she has to be confined to her mansion? Big deal. Oh well. I am sure this latest chapter of stupid people doing stupid things has much repercussion coming in the future. This has set a precedence that American taxpayers will pay for far into the future. Rest assured that big money greased the right palms and her medical condition had nothing whatsoever to do with it. I was ambivalent about Paris Hilton before. Now I will be in a state of total disgust every time I see or hear about her.
There was a report about George Clooney in the newspaper today saying how hard it is to deal with a public persona. To constantly be in the limelight. The limelight is what they all seem to seek. Michelle Pfeiffer was featured on the cover of Good Housekeeping magazine and the article is titled “What She Did for Love.” Turns out she moved from Hollywood to Northern California. Oh yes, before I completely overlook the other accomplishments she and her famous big salary guy baked a cake together one time. George Clooney and Brad Pitt were featured in an article in Time Magazine and Clooney said for the record that the assembled cast of “Ocean’s 13” are simply whores for money. His words, not mine. But in the paper today he was quoted as saying: “The current young stars most notably famous for going around sans panties were just being led down a path that could rain ruin down upon on them.” I would say that Ms. Hilton is proof that it matters not what you do as long as you are famous, even if you are only famous because you show your naked crotch to the paparazzi. Entrance into the world of fame was created for Ms. Hilton by showing her in the sex act with some dork on television and the rest is history.
I would like to take this opportunity to blast Barak Obama for saying that English should not be the official language of America because it is divisive, but I would assume that he has found that out now that Bill Richardson and Chris Dodd have agreed to do a little debate in the Spanish language. I do not think the other candidates on the Democratic ticket speak Spanish. Here in the part of the country where I live, well over half the population is Mexican, so we run in to this switch in the language often. It only means that they do not want you to know what they are saying. I rest my case. Nothing divisive about that. I think it means that we of the English speaking world are shut out. See how great everything is!
