Remember my busy little sister last year? Few people stay busier than my sister and even with that, she's agreed to entertain us with her Christmas do's and don'ts and hints and grins. Take it away, **Lisa Jewell** - dm

Procrastination is over. Even the spelling says it all…long and drawn. If you’re not hurrying to hurry then you better get set and go. I have several lists: one for gifts, one for the goodies, grocery list needed, oh yes my Christmas card list that keeps growing and the one that grabs my attention of the daily things to be done.
I usually have about 15 minutes to do one thing at a time. Child of 14 soon to be 15 to get off for school that is 20 miles away, dancing the other way of 20 miles, yes a daughter that loves ballet. Work that is called my job and then my other full time job called being a mother and wife and animal caretaker. So my hints of getting ready for this Christmas…mind you, I organize to disorganize to organize over and over. Some tips that are helpful, some are a no-no that you don’t want to do. I’m sectioning right now, parts here and parts there.
I have cleaned the bottom shelf of the fridge for my goodies to be made, that haven’t been bought yet from my almost done grocery list. I’ll do the drawers of fridge tonight, ugh. (Probably with a rum and coke…) shhh…Santa. But it does help get through all the yikes and oh my gosh that must have been what I was smelling thing.
Christmas cards must be bought, please and try to remember your postman or woman this holiday. They are our little elves. Gifts I hope some are bought and the shop on line is running close to your finish line. Remember your UPS person they are wonderful, I bet they gets lots of smiles from people always good things coming from them. My husband and son love UPS. They can find their way to my house and daughter-in-law’s house better than my mother can. Like I said the UPS man just came to my door I smiled, I should be smiling lots for the next 10 days I hope. Like I said procrastination is over lets move forward and fast. I’m even listening to Christmas music this year traveling here and there in my wonderful Suvy, Starlite 002 on your Sirius radio plays some wonderful holiday music even my daughter listens to it. Tip: listen to some Christmas music it brings back some good ole memories. What is your favorite Christmas song?

Keep smiling that beautiful smile, little one and you will charm everyone. Fantastic hints, the lists, I have made two today. I would like to throw in one helpful hint, If your local banks or businesses have "open-houses" in your town, take a few minutes to drop in, have some goodies and register for whatever they are giving away. I went to my bank's open-house Tuesday, registered for the $1000.00 1 year CD, and they drew my name! I actually won! So sometimes it pays to take a few minutes to visit your local businesses.
I can't wait for more of your wonderful hints and news of your progress through this hectic time.
Love you!
I forgot my favorite Christmas song. I have many but Bob Segar's version of "Little Drummer Boy" is beautiful.
Little One,
You are like the funniest person in the world to me.
The sad thing is that it is all so true!! LOL!!
Oh Holy Night
Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth by Bing Crosby and David Bowie
GREG
Karen, I expect BIG things from you this Christmas!!
Well, next Christmas. We do want the CD to mature!
Favorite Christmas song:
Christ was born on Christmas Day.
Ray
My favorite song would be The Chipmunk's Song and or Winter Wonderland by Jewel. Kayla likes Brenda Lee's Rockin Around the Christmas Tree. Kayla said Greg's is The Drummer Boy, when and where she found that at I don't know, they like to chat a lot.
Oh wow I didn't know Greg responded, so Kayla was right.
Lisa
I agree that you are so charming and such a lift for this family but that could also be that we are not a very charming family. As for a favorite Christmas Song I giess I would have to go with Silent Night. The Old stand by or even Little Town of Bethleham. I really love all the Christmas Carols and miss my hearing at this season more than ever. I lost one of the loves of my life with that and this time of year especially. MOM
I will tell Karen that Lisa might could make it to the local business thingys...De'on and I are never fixed up enogh to go outside and pick up the paper. Mom or VB
