I just put up a great post VB wrote on sCRiVEnERs foR CHRIST. There are many, well, no, not many, but colorful sides to Virgie.
I've worked in my yard today. It's my first time since I took my virtual trip to Iraq. It's been a lifetime. Really, it has. I didn't have high hopes of much life out there; but promise buds. I love a beautiful yard. I'm a novice at it, but at least it looks as if someone cares--once I get going.
It's been a treat to have Gunz show back up again. He has custody of his daughter, so that's the kind of answers to prayers we can be really happy about. I'm going to go out visiting later ... to my blog buddies, (I think Semper Fi Mom should have exciting news/photos by now) but first I'm going to work on some Guam stuff. I'm behind a little in my posting. I've been working on the blog, but behind the scenes. With two now, I have to surf a lot or scan a lot to get what I need. But it's coming along. Like my real house, they'll continue to be a work in progress!
Also, everyone needs to check out Flag Gazer's post from yesterday. Sounds like she's taken a couple of hits for her patriotism. Sacrifice and suffering can be a real blast at times, ;) but gUnZ uP certainly appreciates her undying support of our troops.
My Uncle Lonnie was injured in Guam on July 21st, I believe. I'll have to pull out the records on that, but I think that's right. I wish I knew more about that. Mom knows more than me, so maybe she can elaborate some on that for us.
Well, I'm off to the Pacific!
