Virgie Bell's View: Viper Garden

Well golly gee, someone in the majority of the Senate or the Congress is upset that Attorney General Gonzales fired eight United States Attorneys. What nerve. What gall--how he's playing to a particular political view. We are all so worthy to represent the people. Blah Blah Blah. When Clinton became President he had Janet Reno fire-ninety three of the same offices. The Attorney General is appointed by the President. Approved by the Senate. That is the procedure. But now they want the Senate to take over this job that has always been the pleasure of the President. He appoints and removes those to which he decides. Now we are to let that office be controlled by a group that is rotten to the core. Full of impropriety and immorality. We hear it over and over. You know I would just as soon walk through an acre of snakes as to try to get along with that bunch of blowhards. I am sure they will continue until we all just get so sick of hearing them rant and rave. It is almost to the point that I find the Anna Nicole saga making more sense. It seems as if those caught up in it have more values and tell more truth than the elected officials in Washington D.C. The House and the Senate are made up of those that were elected by certain districts. The President was elected by all the districts all over the USA. That is the way it is and has been. Let the President and his appointees do their job. SUPPORT THE TROOPS!
