Reflect for a few moments, then write your own story. Take today, April 6, 2007, and imagine that you are in the procession and on your way to see Jesus crucified. With all of your experiences up to this date, where would you be in this procession? Would you even attend? Picture yourself there and make Good Friday real for you today. We are blessed in that we know the rest of the story. But what if you didn't? Would you feel betrayed by Jesus, sorrow or confusion, would you reach out to Mary and comfort her or would you deny that you ever knew Him? If you could speak what you thought may be your last words to Jesus, what would they be? Would you ask for forgiveness for something specific? Or would you beg Him to deliver Himself? If you believed He was weak, would you still wail over the brutality of it all?Friday, April 6, 2007
