Killed by enemy fire in Iraq. He was assigned to B Company, 317th Engineer Battalion, Fort Benning, Georgia. Died on April 6, 2003.


Army Pvt. Kelley S. Prewitt, 24, of Alabama.
Killed in action by enemy fire in Iraq. Prewitt was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia. Died on April 6, 2003.

Carman died due to hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 6, 2004.

Marine Lance Cpl. Marcus M. Cherry, 18, of Imperial, California.
Cherry died due to hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 6, 2004.


Marine Pfc. Christopher R. Cobb, 19, of Bradenton, Florida.
Cobb died due to hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 6, 2004.


Marine Lance Cpl. Kyle D. Crowley, 18, of San Ramon, California.
Crowley died due to hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 6, 2004.

Marine Lance Cpl. Travis J. Layfield, 19, of Fremont, California.
Layfield died due to hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 6, 2004.


Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Fernando A. Mendez-Aceves, 27, of Mexico City, Mexico.
Mendez-Aceves was killed in Iraq while conducting combat operations in the Al Anbar Province. He was assigned to the Naval Medical Center San Diego, First Marine Division Detachment, San Diego, California. Died on April 6, 2004.


Army Sgt. Gerardo Moreno, 23, of Terrell, Texas.
Moreno died in Ashula, Iraq, when his unit was ambushed by individuals who fired a rocket-propelled grenade. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on April 6, 2004.

Roberts died due to hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 6, 2004.


Army Sgt. Lee D. Todacheene, 29, of Farmington, New Mexico.
Todacheene died in Balad, Iraq, when mortar fire hit his guard post. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 77th Armored Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on April 6, 2004.


Marine Staff Sgt. Allan K. Walker, 28, of Lancaster, California.
Walker died due to hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 6, 2004.

Wroblewski died due to hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 6, 2004.

Marine Pfc. Chase A. Edwards, 19, of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Edwards died while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on April 6, 2006.


Army Spc. Dustin J. Harris, 21, of Patten, Maine.
Harris died in Bayji, Iraq, when an improvised device detonated while he was conducting dismounted patrol operations. He was assigned to the 172nd Brigade Support Battalion, 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Died on April 6, 2006.


Army Spc. Daniel L. Sesker, 22, of Ogden, Iowa.
Sesker died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during combat operations. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's Troop C, 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry in LeMars, Iowa. Died on April 6, 2006.


Marine Lance Cpl. Bryan N. Taylor, 20, of Milford, Ohio.
Taylor died after being shot by an Iraqi Army soldier on a coalition base near Al Qaim, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on April 6, 2006.
