Virgie Bell's View: Skirts a'Broad

If anyone has trouble in recognizing Charlie Rangel, here is a clue as to what to look for. Look for the biggest diamond ring you have ever seen in your life; this would be what is called the focal point in a picture. Follow the hand and on up to the arm and shoulder and you will come to the face on Charlie Rangel. On the face you may observe the perfect cut mustache and on the forehead please notice the black eyebrows, right under the distinguished silver hair with the $100.00 haircut. You can view this person relentlessly on Fox TV. The newest addition to this person is another picture alongside of it in which Charlie Rangel is in uniform for a branch of the service. This, of course, is from long ago. I don't know what rank he achieved. Contrary to John Kerry's statement if one did well in their education they could do well and if not they would be sent to Iraq, this man never finished high school and received an honorary degree from some university. So much for the well educated statesman image that is thrown in our face so often. Obviously he did not learn that much about loyalty to the flag he fought for. His remark today was that if we, meaning those of us who really love our troops, that if we did love them, we would bring them home.

Unlike John Kerry, Charlie sure did not have the rich aunt who could pay his way through Harvard. Also, a high school education is a requirement to go to a main line preppy school like Harvard. It helps quite a bit if you are one of the ones with the name, but if not; the bucks that you have or a rich relative has will clear the way. But to tell you the truth, as far as I’m concerned those who use their service in the military to tell you how those of us who love the troops should feel goes a little beyond the pail. It will be a while before I will vote a ticket for the Democratic Party. Simply put, I am a member of the American people, one in whom the Charlie Rangel's and the John Kerry's feel free to say how I should feel about the War on Terror and infer in anyway that I do not love the troops that stand in harm’s way.

Today in the editorials we are at it again about greenhouse gas. Like you dear reader, all I know is what I read about this subject. In this I try really hard to get my opinions from those who have the most expertise in this field. Thus far it seems the majority of the scientists say that it is a lot of hooey. Another thing is I'm afraid the Oscar winning Al Gore may be as misguided in just standard subjects as he possibly is in his short course in religion. If he thinks for an instant that he can override what is in the Bible about what God will do with this earth, he is sadly mistaken. God will do what He will do and that is laid out in the Scriptures. The fullness of the Gentiles will determine when the end comes. We will not be the cause of it, at least, that is the information given in the Word of God. It says not even the angels in heaven know the day nor the hour. But of the seasons we will be aware. There will be things to look for. Lawlessness will increase and it will be preceded any apostasy. Apostasy is the complete abandonment of one’s religion, party, or principals.

If there are no more attacks such as the one suffered by our country, I think the Democrats are in. If we have one more attack they will not. Believing this, I try mighty hard to find something in that dear old party that will please me. I want to be pleased. In fact I want that very much. So far I cannot find even one of them that I am thrilled about. As for the Speaker of the House over in the Middle East against the administrations advice, I think she should keep her big lips shut about what Israel will or will not do. It is bad enough that she feels that she can, in her capacity, with her big mouth, speak for all of us. I wish she would feel the need to wear a longer skirt when on her foreign peace trips. The male members in that society feel it is their duty to beat their women who might get out of line. I am sure that several women experienced the wrath of their husband and fathers, just on general principal.

This darling little grandmother was quoted in Time Magazine as saying that if someone wants to rip her face off, then she will rip their face off. So sweet isn't it. Let me be clear, Ms. Pelosi, just in case someone runs onto this, I do not want to rip your face off. I just want you to lower your hemline. Save the flash and dash of your shapely limbs for those that won't have to beat the women in their families. Just a little tip on peace talks and modesty. When you go to France to do your thing, then show it off. French men love seeing what you love showing. Now on to the Republican candidates.

I don't know much about Mr. Romney, but all the other candidates running on that ticket are pretty darn impressive. I know that they have multiple marriages, but hey that happens. I had just as soon try again as to stick with those as dysfunctional as the previous administration was. Even though Bill and Hillary maintain a separate residence, I don't call that a separation. I call that still holding on to the power of the throne. Hillary, bless her, has the most unappealing voice and to be honest, it seemed the kids took over the White House when they were there. We still have to wait for Chelsea. Let her be the next Clinton if we have to have one. Maybe she can throw her head back and laugh like dear old dad. At least he had my misguided vote. The first lady was always a little snippy and curt for my taste. I guess what I am saying: I just don't like these so called feminists that are so power hungry. Just as I thought it became safe to go back in the water... dah-dum ... dah-dum ... swish ... swish ...well you get my drift…. SUPPORT THE TROOPS!
