Army Cpl. Henry L. Brown, 22, of Natchez, Mississippi.
Died of wounds received from an enemy rocket attack south of Baghdad. He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 64th Field Armor Regiment, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on April 8, 2003.


Marine Pfc. Juan Guadalupe Garza, Jr., 20, of Temperance, Michigan.
Killed in action in central Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 8, 2003.


Army Sgt. 1st Class John W. Marshall, 50, of Los Angeles, California.
Killed in action in Iraq. Marshall was struck by an enemy rocket propelled grenade during an enemy ambush in Baghdad. Marshall was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on April 8, 2003.


Army Pfc. Jason M. Meyer, 23, of Swartz Creek, Michigan.
Killed in action by enemy fire in Iraq. Meyer was assigned to B Company, 11th Engineer Battalion, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on April 8, 2003.


Air Force Staff Sgt. Scott D. Sather, 29, of Clio, Michigan.
Killed in action in Iraq. Sather was assigned to the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina. Died on April 8, 2003.


Army Staff Sgt. Robert A. Stever, 36, of Pendleton, Oregon.
Killed in action by enemy fire in Iraq. Stever was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on April 8, 2003.

Marine Lance Cpl. Levi T Angell, 20, of Cloquet, Minnesota.
Angell died due to injuries received from hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to Combat Service Support Group 11, 1st Force Service Support Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 8, 2004.


Marine Cpl. Nicholas J. Dieruf, 21, of Versailles, Kentucky.
Dieruf died due to injuries received from enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton. Died on April 8, 2004.


Marine Lance Cpl. Phillip E. Frank, 20, of Elk Grove, Illinois.
Frank died from hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 8, 2004.


Marine Staff Sgt. William M. Harrell, 30, of Placentia, California.
Harrell died due to injuries received from hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 8, 2004.


Army Spc. Isaac Michael Nieves, 20, of Unadilla, New York.
Nieves was killed by a rocket-propelled grenade when his combat patrol was ambushed by insurgents in Bani Saad, Iraq. He was assigned to 82nd Engineer Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, Bamberg, Germany. Died on April 8, 2004.


Marine 1st Lt. Joshua M. Palmer, 25, of Banning, California.
Palmer died due to injuries received from hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 8, 2004.


Marine Lance Cpl. Michael B. Wafford, 20, of Spring, Texas.
Wafford died due to injuries received from hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 8, 2004.


Marine Lance Cpl. Christopher B. Wasser, 21, of Ottawa, Kansas.
Wasser died due to injuries received from enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, California. Died on April 8, 2004.

Army Staff Sgt. Kevin D. Davis, 41, of Lebanon, Oregon.
Davis died in Balad, Iraq, of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV in Hawijah, Iraq. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's G Troop, 82nd Cavalry, Redmond, Oregon. Died on April 8, 2005.

April 8, 2006

Army Cpl. Shawn R. Creighton, 21, of Windsor, North Carolina.
Creighton died in Rawah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Stryker vehicle during patrol operations. He was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Died on April 8, 2006.


Marine Lance Cpl. Philip J. Martini, 24, of Lansing, Illinois.
Martini died of a gunshot wound while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 8, 2006.


Army Pvt. Jody W. Missildine, 19, of Plant City, Florida.
Missildine died in Tal Afar, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during convoy operations. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Friedberg, Germany. Died on April 8, 2006.


Marine Lance Cpl. Juana Navarro-Arellano, 24, of Ceres, California.
Navarro-Arellano died from wounds received while supporting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. She was assigned to 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa, Japan. Died on April 8, 2006.
