From the Members of Military Support Online Network (Mil-SON)

Words cannot express the pain of the loss of a precious child, husband, or father and there is no greater sacrifice than your family has made today. We did not have the privilege of knowing Aaron personally, but we offer you our deepest sympathy along with our utmost respect and heartfelt gratitude for the precious gift Aaron so honorably gave to serve and protect you, his loved ones, and his country! Although your hearts are broken, we hope you find some small measure of peace and comfort in the knowledge that God only takes the best and there is none better than a Marine! We are told in Psalms 34:18 that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We pray now that God will encircle you with the comfort of his presence and uphold you in the days to come with His righteous right hand! As members of your extended Marine family, we gather around you today in spirit to remember Aaron. Each time we read this poem, we will think of the loss your family is suffering and the price that Aaron willingly and graciously paid for us all.
